Greenbuild Europe provides a forum for leading sustainability professionals across a wide range of industries to unite and share innovative practices and time-tested solutions to the most pressing issues of our time, such as air quality, human health, energy use and global climate change. Members of our Europe and Retail team were there to catch up with USGBC, GBCI and other friends from around the world at this very energetic event.

Greenbuild Europe 2019 offered two days of international speakers, unparalleled networking opportunities, and industry showcases and workshops on the LEED green building program as well as on GBCI’s newest program.

Keynote speakers Mahesh Ramanujam and Dr. Leyla Acaroglu kicked off Greenbuild Europe 2019 with a very impressive joint presentation on how to best ensure that our creative decisions positively impact the world around us and society as a whole. This presentation focused on how our decisions will impact the future of green design, and how positive system changes support societal changes that benefit everyone’s health and wellbeing. These speakers sought to provide the audience with insight into how personal influence impacts the future of green design and how life cycle thinking helps to address critical environmental issues.
